Living a fairly sustainable lifestyle and helping others do the same through environmental education and encouraging urban food production in the leached sands of the Swan Coastal Plain.
I want to help people transition to a more ethical and environmental lifestyle by using less resources, educating people in their own homes about simple changes that can be made in consumption patterns and creating a few new simple habits.
I am available for home consults.

I have over 20 years experience in horticulture, mainly in propagation of native and food plants and garden centre experience. Working as a nursery hand I spoke to many gardeners and enjoy engaging people on my favourite topics of beneficial insects, organic gardening and re-greening cities by planting trees and growing food. I believe through the addition of plants for food, diverse urban habitats can be created for humans as well as other fauna and flora.
Another keen interest of mine is educating people about environmental and sustainability issues, which is what part of this website will be about. Sometimes I do short talks about good bugs, edible weeds, biodiversity and other topics to groups of people at courses.
My partner of 20 years and I bonded over Permaculture, having recently both done our PDC’s, when we first met and have been gardening together since.
We are also strong advocates against the greyhound racing industry and have adopted two greyhounds from Greyhound Adoptions WA.
